F1® Delta Time 2020 Assets are Almost Here!
Greetings F1® Delta Time racers, what an autumn it has been!
Just in the last few months, our very own utility token REVV was launched, staking feature with the first pool went live (with a little over 2,000,000 REVV earned) and we also kicked off the Elite Time Trials. It has been a mix of racing action, winner announcements and nail biting excitement while everyone is waiting for the Grand Prix to go live.
With the F1® Delta Time 2020 content launch just around the corner, It’s time to take a look at the new NFTs and to dive into some much anticipated news about the upcoming sales. In this article we will bring you a sneak peak at the 2020 assets, and talk a bit about what the 2020 content season for F1® Delta Time looks like.
The Future of 2019 NFTs
One question that has been on the minds of many, is what will happen to the F1® Delta Time 2019 NFTs when the 2020 content season flows in. Well it’s time to put your mind at rest, all existing NFTs will still retain their full utility and value, and be fully supported by F1® Delta Time and the REVV motorsport ecosystem.
Firstly, we will soon start the second NFT staking period, which will still be exclusive to the 2019 NFTs, with 10,000,000 REVV in the pool to earn. As an added bonus, on top of the staking of cars, our 2019 NFT holders will also have an ability to earn yield from their driver NFTs, too. Car NFTs will continue to be the most valuable asset from a staking returns perspective, with drivers having around half the earning potential.
Additionally, 2019 content will be competing in their own events, with their own prizes and leaderboards. Some of these 2019 events will also reward 2020 content and Keys, too. You will hear more about these soon!
With each subsequent season, new content will be added based on the latest Formula 1® season, and each time, the previous season of content will remain fully supported.
Presale Structure
The full 2020 content sale for F1® Delta Time kicks-off in December this year, but before that, there will be a pre-sale. The 2020 Content Pre-Sale runs for a limited time, and is the only opportunity to buy 2020 content at a discount of up to 50% off.

A Closer Look At 2020
And now to take a closer look at what you will find this season. Here are some highlights from the new collection, which have been given a significant facelift for 2020.
The difference between the rarity of each item will be more visually distinct, but the content itself will functionally remain the same. For example, engines will still have acceleration, grip and top speed stats, as seen with 2019.
Every tier features more components and elements (visually of course). Legendary tier items will be revealed in due course, but will be the biggest and most aggressive looking, with beautiful gold elements highlighting the asset’s prestige.
Driver assets have a fresh new look too, with colours indicating their tiers. As mentioned above, the legendary items will feature gold elements, making them truly stand out!
And of course we can’t forget about the cars….
The Black Arrows
The biggest change of liveries after the pre-season test came in the form of a black Mercedes. In what was a record breaking year for both team and driver Lewis Hamilton, the change of colours was set against the backdrop of the fight against racism and discrimination. Moreover, it was a pledge to improve the team’s diversity. 2020 was another stellar year for the German outfit, as they dominated the season, taking out their 7th consecutive constructor’s title, becoming the most successful team in the sport’s history.
Fashion x F1
In 2020, Italian-based team Scuderia Toro Rosso rebranded themselves as Scuderia Alpha Tauri to promote the Alpha Tauri fashion brand. The team has operated with it’s former name since 2006, but in February of 2020, announced their rebranding with a stunning dark blue and white matte livery. The 2020-spec AT01 powered by Honda, took a maiden victory in Monza, with Frenchman Pierre Gasly at the wheel.
#WeRaceAsOne
As the 2020 season commenced, F1® launched the #WeRaceAsOne initiative in order to tackle the biggest issues facing our world today. With the hopes of raising awareness for the fight against COVID-19, racism and inequality, the Woking-based McLaren F1® team featured a rainbow on the halo as well as on the side-pods of their 2020 car. The team has had a successful 2020 season, with both drivers taking a podium each, as they sit 4th in the constructor’s championship going into the final rounds. The team has been engaged in a grueling mid-field battle with the likes of Renault and Racing Point.
A Rollercoaster Season…
BWT Racing Point, soon to be Aston Martin Racing in 2021, retained their title sponsor BWT for the 2020 season and thus the predominantly pink livery. Nicknamed the Pink Panther, the team freshened up their livery, removing some blue elements from the engine cover from 2019, replacing it with bolder BWT branding. Former team driver Nico Hulkenberg came in, at a phone-call’s notice. “The Hulk’s” stand in races were incredibly successful, qualifying 3rd at the British Grand Prix, finished 7th at the 70th Anniversary Race, and took an 8th placed finish at the Eifel GP.
Back to the Future
Having donned a black and gold livery in 2019, Haas returned to its roots with red, grey and black for the 2020 season. The team have struggled through the races as a result of Ferrari’s drop in engine performance this year. Having kept their long time pairing of Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen.
A Frenchman, a Shoey and a Tattoo
2020 saw the return of young talent Esteban Ocon to the F1® grid, as teammate to Daniel Ricciardo at the Renault F1® Team. Before the season started, Ricciardo made an announcement that he would be making the switch over to McLaren for 2021.When the season finally kicked off, Renault found good form and took the fight to the other midfield teams.
